Our Stöfflerhof in Versciaco-San Candido has been owned by the family Joas for over 200 years
Leo Joas and his wife Helene have run the farm together with their son Michael since 1992.
In December 2006 our farm was officially registered as an ancestral estate.
The house including the holiday flats was rebuilt in 1983.
The barn and building for 50 cattle, chicken, the cats and a dog was newly erected in 1997.
Our farm is based on dairy farming.

FARM HOLIDAYS in the middle of the DOLOMITEs
Located in the calm and sunny centre of Vierschach, a small village belonging to the community of Innichen, our farm lies directly at the foot of the skiing and hiking area Helm in the Sexten Dolomites and the cycling routes from Innichen to Lienz (Drauradweg), Innichen to Bruneck or Innichen to Toblach-Cortina.
Here you can enjoy your stress-free holidays and spend some relaxing time without your car as there is a bus stop with optimum connections to all destinations in the entire Puster Valley within a few walking minutes from our house.
On our farm you and your children have got the chance to personally experience the work on a farm and get to know our animals (cows, calves, chicken, cats and a dog).
You can watch us working but you are also welcome to join in if you want to.
Your children will definitely remember this holiday as there is always something new to see on a farm.
We are looking forward to welcoming you on our farm in Versciaco.
- BIOGAS- AND PHOTOVOLTAIK-SYSTEM
Our farm disposes of its own fermentation plant that makes liquid manure more environmentally friendly and uses natural gases for the heating system. We have also used our own photo-voltaic system to produce energy since 2012.
- SCHAUKÄSEREI DREI ZINNEN
Our farm is based on dairy farming for the cooperative for alpine dairy products, Drei Zinnen in Dobbiaco which produces diverse types of cheese, butter, yoghurt as well as other dairy products.
Discover new and amusing facts about cheese production and dairy farming taking a tour through the Schaukäserei-Mondolatte.
